Core Facilities Brochure

Core Facilities in the Institute for Genomic Biology houses microscopes used in scientific research. The manager asked me to design a brochure describing their capabilities as well as a gallery showcasing some of the images captured by the microscopes. I created a pattern showing plant cells, inspired by the work of the work of Charley Harper, who illustrated several well known books in the 1960s about biology. The blue color is inspired by the bright fluorescent colors captured in the microscope images. I also carried over the shape of the circle to look like both a cell and the view through a microscope.
