Shokran Brand Design

Shokran is a lovely Moroccan restaurant in Chicago, Illinois. I was privileged to be able to redesign their logo and menu. I chose a pattern based on tile patterns found in Morocco and used it as a repeating pattern for branded materials. In addition, the colors (gold and blue) reflect Moroccan tile art. Finally, the gold also reflects the spices found in Moroccan food. Combined, the design elements come together to reflect the rich cultural and culinary heritage of this gem of a restaurant.
